FBI Confiscate Guns Because of Mean Tweets

Then at a hearing, a conservative judge made it into a one year restraining order in which he is not allowed to touch guns. Why...Because of mean tweets.

Gone are the days when the American President expanded freedom by saying edgy things from his bully pulpit.

Instead, we are living through the days in which the call has gone out to cleanse the population of the notion that their words get to be spoken freely.

You don’t need free speech around words that do not push the boundaries.

Such a notion is pointless.

Free speech is specifically for those who speak words that threaten the interest of someone.

Status quo speech needs no protection.

With that era here, there are special words that radical leftists have learned to make the FBI a nightmare in the lives of many.

These are the magic words “This man is dangerous, I fear for my life.”

“This woman is dangerous, I fear for my life.”

Speak those words and the system goes into action. Conservative judge and liberal police officer alike will band together because they never want it to be said they did nothing if anything ever happens to the accuser.

Have those words spoken about you and your rights disappear in about 30 seconds, evidence or not.

If a person is a liar they speak such words against others without compulsion.

And something along those lines happened to a friend of mine not long ago. He was an activist who could have use an “insurance policy” — an insurance policy that I’m going to recommend to each of you.

He was on the Internet being a troll, as was his hobby.

He would send what we’re effectively “mean tweets” to people.

It would be tweets with a Christian message but delivered with a punch.

Some would say that’s not a very Christian approach, but that’s a matter of theological debate.

And I am not here to debate theology. I am here to speak about the need to have a society in which people speak freely.

De-platformed time and again, this clever fellow had ways to keep himself on the platforms that banned him.

Until the nuclear option was resorted to.

After the conservative judge was done with him, I guess he can be thankful that he is still allowed to touch computers.

But this is how it started — A radical leftist did not like his attitude and reported him.

It was that simple.

Within days the FBI was visiting family members looking for him.

He had moved long ago and these were the only addresses that had for him.

After a month of that stupidity, he “turned himself in” for mean tweets, just so his family didn’t have to talk to those creeps anymore.

And after an interview in which two agents deemed him a threat, they presented a signed warrant from a judge for the confiscation of all weapons in his home.

That meant his roommate lost all weapons too.

Why?

Because of mean tweets.

Then at a hearing, a conservative judge made it into a one year restraining order in which he is not allowed to touch guns.

Again...

Because of mean tweets.

At that same hearing, a local deputy sheriff stood up saying the FBI had presented inaccurate evidence to obtain the warrant — intentionally excluding exculpatory evidence.

The local sheriff’s deputy actually stood up to defend him in court against the overreach of the FBI.

Exculpatory means that which shows innocence.

It is the responsibility of government in any proceedings to always show the evidence that shows innocence as well as the evidence that shows guilt.

But we live in times when that does not happen.

Which is not new.

But these are especially fast and loose times.

And when someone says “He is dangerous, I fear for my life,” or “She is dangerous, I fear for my life,” well, there is no more presumption of innocence.

Everyone in the system just figures out how to cover their butts.

Now how much different might that exchange have looked if when the FBI showed up he could have hit the phone and ten people would have come and stood beside him during that exchange?

Ten witnesses.

Ten more calm heads.

Ten more people who wouldn’t be pushed around.

Is it possible those two FBI agents might have said “This is the wrong guy to mess with. He’s not worth the trouble.”

It is possible.

And that is part of the vision of People’s Rights — you stand up for your rights on your own all day long.

And when you have gone beyond what you can personally do, you ask your neighbors to come help.

The goal is to be able to get 10 neighbors within 10 minutes.

And that takes a lot of work to organize.

But that’s the goal.

It is an insurance policy for activists.

That means it might cost you time helping others in order for that insurance to work. But the goal is that if we do it, that insurance will work.

I know of no other organization doing that.

There are many other good organizations doing good things, but I know of none others doing that.

And I believe it is something all who are pushing the envelope politically should be a part of.

In fact, I believe it is practically stupid not to be a part of it, to not have that insurance.

I’ve watched too many who I know be dragged though the legal system unjustly and lost so much.

Once you are dragged into the legal system, whether innocent or guilty, it is a very difficult battle.

People’s Rights exists to pre-empt that, to make it clear that you are going to be a little more trouble to deal with than the next guy, and that you aren’t really worth the trouble.

I don’t usually pitch other organizations in these emails, but I believe this one to be a different one, to be one doing something unique out of all the groups out there.

I hope everyone reading this is one who pushes the boundaries politically and I hope that everyone reading this is someone who sees the sense of being part of People’s Rights and seeing to it that the insurance policy I speak of is solidly in place for yourself and for others, anytime that insurance policy is needed.

Meetings on that will take place this Friday and this Saturday. The Saturday meeting schedule went out in the weekly newsletter this week and will come in the next People’s Rights email as well.
