They Took a Baby. Then They Took Everything. Now They're Coming for his Children.

St. Luke's CEO, Chris Roth, directed his attorneys to seize the bank accounts of Hayden Bundy, the 21-year-old son of Ammon and Lisa Bundy.

They Took a Baby. Then They Took Everything. Now They're Coming for the Children.

Imagine the State takes a baby from parents you know to be loving and attentive. You speak out, stand up for what's right, and help return that baby to his family.

Then, through the legal system, they come for you—your home, your accounts, your freedom. All because you dared to speak out.

Bad enough, right?

Now imagine those same powerful people—those who weaponized the law to punish you—begin targeting your children. Not because of anything your child did wrong, but because he's your child.

That's exactly what happened on Friday, June 6th.

St. Luke's CEO, Chris Roth, directed his attorneys to seize the bank accounts of Hayden Bundy, the 21-year-old son of Ammon and Lisa Bundy. Not because Hayden had committed any crime or was involved in any lawsuit. Not because of a court order naming him. But simply because Hayden shares a P.O. Box with his parents.

Using a year-old court order that did not name or mention Hayden at all, Chris Roth and his legal team at Holland & Hart LLP twisted its language to justify seizing Hayden's bank accounts. This was not an honest mistake. It was a deliberate action taken in bad faith, exploiting the court's authority to inflict further punishment on a family they've already tried to destroy.

St. Lukes attorney Darren Reid Knew It Was Wrong—And Did It Anyway

In a recorded call with Hayden, David Duncan, CFO of State Bank of Southern Utah, clearly admits that he personally communicated with St. Luke's attorney Darren Reid before freezing Hayden's accounts. Both men acknowledged that Hayden Bundy was not listed in the lawsuit.

They knew he had no legal connection to the case.
They knew his account was personally and solely owned.
They knew the court order didn't mention him.

And they froze his money anyway.

This was not a technical glitch or overzealous compliance. It was a conscious decision—a willful violation of Hayden's rights—made by people entrusted with the power of law and finance. The motive? To punish Hayden because of who his parents are.

That is not banking.
That is not law.
That is collusion and abuse of power.

Reid with Duncan didn't act cautiously—they acted vengefully. They looked for a reason to freeze Hayden's account, rather than fulfill their duty to protect his rights. In doing so, the bank violated its fiduciary duty, and the attorneys violated their ethical obligations to the court and the Constitution.

Hayden Bundy Is Now Paying the Price

Because of this unlawful freeze:

  • Hayden cannot pay rent, utilities, or buy food.

  • He's at risk of missing a credit card payment, which will damage his credit.

  • He can't pay his college housing deposit or tuition for BYU–Idaho.

  • His small vehicle-flipping business has been shut down.

All because of a shared mailing address. There was no notice, no hearing, no due process. That is a clear violation of the Fourteenth Amendment and Article I, Section 7 of the Utah Constitution.

And the worst part?
They knew it was wrong before they did it.

The Fight for Private Property Is Not Over

The right to private property is what set America apart from the rest of the world. In many nations, the powerful could seize what they wanted. In America, our Constitution stood in the way.

When courts are manipulated, and banks violate their duty, we must stand up.

Hayden Bundy may need your help to get his money back. But this is about more than one young man. It's about whether the rule of law still applies to everyone—or only to those with enough power to ignore it.

Stay tuned. The truth will not be frozen.

UPDATE 1

People’s Rights Network (PRN) Does It Again — THANK YOU!

People’s Rights Network (PRN) Does It Again!

Once again, the People’s Rights Network proved what ordinary people can do when they stand together. Because of your calls, your voices, and your resolve, justice was served—for now. Thank you for showing the strength of a free people willing to defend one another. You made the difference.

Public Pressure Worked

Yesterday morning, it appeared that neither the executives at State Bank of Southern Utah nor the attorneys for St. Luke’s had any intention of releasing Hayden Bundy’s lawfully earned funds. Despite knowing he wasn’t named in any court order, they were prepared to let him suffer—unable to pay rent, buy food, or prepare for college.

But that changed.

After a day of persistent phone calls, public pressure, and even questions from within the bank’s own circles—including colleagues of the CFO—Hayden was informed that his accounts would be unfrozen. The funds were returned. And shortly thereafter, we received a message asking us to please stop the calls.

That request only proves the power of people standing up together.

Thank you. To every one of you who called, who asked questions, who stood up for Hayden—thank you. You made the difference.

The Bigger Problem Still Exists

Let’s be clear: the problem isn’t over. What happened to Hayden wasn’t just a mistake—it’s part of a growing pattern where institutions use the courts to target people, freeze their funds, and leave them without a way to live. Most victims don’t have the benefit of the People’s Rights Network, or a public willing to fight for them.

The America we believe in protects the “little guy.” It doesn’t seize his money and leave him with nothing.

Banks, aside from making loans, have one core purpose: to safeguard your money. That’s it. We don’t believe the State Bank of Southern Utah has fully forgotten that purpose—but if they had, yesterday served as a powerful reminder.
